Abandon Religion at Your Peril- on PaleoJays Smoothie Cafe podcast


Religion!  So Medieval, right?

Well, yes- and ancient, and paleolithic, and well- every other time bar none!

Religion is baked into our DNA!  You can be ‘trendy’, you can deny it completely: but you really can’t, not really.

Neanderthals had a religion, possibly moon worship, but we can’t be sure.  They certainly laid their departed to rest, bedecked with flowers for the next world).
 What we can be certain about is that any people who denied a higher power (think NAZI’s and COMMUNIST’S) - well, they wound up in a nihilistic NIGHTMARE, where in the Nazi’s case they started to worship strange paganistic rituals,  and in communism (and Nazi socialism too, come to think of it) they started in on dictator worship instead: (Stalin and Hitler and Mao to name a few worthies).

Our very species evolved with a notion of a higher power- a GOD.  Usually  matriarchal in the beginning, (the Moon), but then evolving into a patriarchal, SUN god over time.  It is in our very DNA- deny it at your peril.  

Go ahead: deny that there is anything other than man and random chance in the Universe.  Go ahead…

It’s a lie, a lie that is built within us to detect: from the Earth Mother, to Zeuss, to Mithra and the Son of God himself- they are all here, they are all US.  Your fake, climate change denial, hedonism and multiculturalist diversity nightmare all outline it in bright colours:  there is a God, or else there is nothing.  And our evolutionary dictates tell us that there IS.

If there is not a God, what is there?  

This has been answered, time and again.  

If you deny there is any god, it sucks you dry, from the inside.  All is nothing, there is nothing but blind chance, and life is nothing.  

This destroys you, personally.  You are nothing…

Then, you try to substitute, out of desperation:  You read fantasy stories where there is meaning, you watch movies where there is meaning as well (never realizing that the subject and plot lines of these movies and stories is taken from Christian and ancient Western archetypes), pretending there is meaning where your cynical, liberalized mindset prohibits you from looking overall-

And then, as your culture at large adopts this attitude of Liberal Thought writ large: you begin to notice the overall cultural rot.  Without an overarching, cultural program of a God Centered Universe-  




THERE IS NOTHING

Nothing to live for, nothing to aspire to-
Total hedonism, and then, ultimately- oblivion..



And it’s all a lie. 

Through our very evolution, we know this to be untrue .  We in the Western tradition have built a civilization that is second to none, that has transformed the world.  And we know what happens when there is- nothing.

When there is no belief, when everyone in a society, or the majority, believe in nothing: 

History has shown godless societies to be unfit for survival. Time and again, they have been outcompeted by both gods-fearing and God-fearing societies. 

When God’s law is not observed, the law can become whatever the ruler wants it to be: Ultimately there are no human rights, let alone property rights, as totalitarianism reigns. When religion becomes ascendant, so too does the rule of law. 

And human animals, when given free reign through the idea of no absolutes, meaning the horrid ‘anti- human credo’ of moral relativism- and NO GOD: 

We have here entered the realm of hell on earth.  Where rulers can determine who lives and who dies- whatever they decide, whimsically or whatever.   Where children die en masse, and so do the elderly- 

Like in any African Country nowadays!  We are talking HELL on Earth!  

But don’t say so!  Because, well since they’re from Africa they are a protected species...

BS- Africa is now, officially once again since the fall of South Africa: 

HELL ON EARTH!

And sadly, major American cities, like Chicago and Detroit, Philadelphia, St.Louis, and many others..

No GOD, no ascendant Western Civilization and culture: 

TOTAL COLLAPSE AND HELL

Paleo Quick Tip of the Day #28- Gorge Yourself on the Good


I was at a 60th birthday party recently- (I am 62 myself), and was surprised to find that a party is, at this  point in life, often a place to talk about... illness.

Illnesses and the DRUGS to treat them!

I had this strange feeling that I was a seer: I knew what each person talking really needed, a bit of information that would rectify what was wrong with them; would save them, if you will, from disease, disability, and eventual premature death!

The only problem is that... I really can’t say anything!

This is what a knowledge of the Ancestral way of living does to you!  You know what almost everyone needs to restore their health- get rid of their degenerative diseases, that are gradually destroying their health, wellness, and quality of life...

But you also know that they don’t want to hear it!

You’re not a Doctor!  You’re not qualified!

But, most importantly: they don’t want to change their habits- their way of eating and living! NO NO NO!

It’s ironic, but Medical Doctors know nothing about nutrition- nothing!  In fact,  they as a rule tend to discount its importance entirely.

It’s really crazy that someone like PaleoJay, a 62 year old English major in college, knows more than an MD from Harvard or anywhere else-
but it’s TRUE!

Just as someone like Jimi Hendrix learned through actually doing it how to express himself musically through a guitar by actually doing it- so it is that if you endeavor to educate yourself about your own health and wellness by actually doing, and exploring ideas and experimenting rather than just following accepted rote dogma-  you can actually fix your own health!  And that of others, like your family and friends!



Back to before: virtually EVERYONE, by the age of 60, has LOTS of medical issues- metabolic syndrome, diabesity, skin conditions, actual diabetes itself, obesity and heart disease, chronic stress and high blood pressure; difficulty sleeping, rheumatoid arthritis, even cancer...

The incredible secret I want to tell you here is that:
ALL OF THESE ARE PREVENTABLE, AND EVEN REVERSIBLE!

Right now, I’m not at a party with friends- I’m here, talking to YOU, my BEST friend!  And I’m here to tell you that if you just EAT real, God made foods; foods like grass fed meat, pastured eggs, LOTS of veggies (especially whipped up in a Vitamix blender/smoothie!), pastured dairy like butter and cream- preferably raw!, get LOTS of sleep, rest and recreation- do SOME bodyweight and virtually resistance exercises most days- walk as much as you can daily, spend time with friends and family on a regular basis (not just watching tv together), and get out in the SUN for at least 15 minutes per day, preferably in a natural, forest or savanah-like environment...

YOU WON’T NEED ANY PHARMACEUTICAL MEDICINES AT ALL- EVER!!

Of course, if you also eliminate BREAD, and pasta, and anything containing gluten whatsoever, like... almost everything that is manmade like fast food, deli food, breakfast food, sandwich food, food food- in other words- MAN MADE PROCESSED FOODS-

YOU WILL BE GOLDEN!!

BUT, I think that most people getting into the Ancestral lifestyle concentrate on ELIMINATING foods; which is why I concentrate on ADDING IN nutrient dense, good, GOD MADE FOODS!
The lynch pin of health

If you do that: you won’t want, or have room for the man made CRAP.

And so, concentrate on adding in as much as you possibly can of good, wholesome God made foods!

To paraphrase John Wesley:

Eat as much God made food as you can!
As often as you can! With all the friends that you can! With all the people that you can! As long as ever you can!

Sorry to go all evangelical on you, but I feel that strongly about this.

The more of good food you eat, the less of the bad!

Gorge yourself on the GOOD!

In SLEEP, in family and friend relations- at church, and with your neighbors!  GORGE yourself on a daily exercise regimen in the early morning doing Perfectly Paleo Exercise- POUR Veggie and Vitamin rich smoothie into your body morning and noon... FAST at night, regulating your body in tune with it’s ancestral rythmns of feast and famine- sing and dance with your friends- have campfires and wander through the forest, getting in tune with nature!!  Go to bed EARLY, and wake up EARLY- get in touch with your circadian rythmns!

And now?  Life is good!  Who even WANTS a donut?

Paleo Quick Tip of the Day #20- Eat God food, Eliminate Man food, and Grow your Health!






It is almost universal- someone first hears about the Paleo Diet, and the very first thing they hear is to eliminate wheat!  Although it is a wonderful step, and very beneficial, it is NOT just because this eliminates the gluten and gliadin anti-nutrients or toxins within it that degrade your intestinal wall… the main reason, in my opinion, is that it frees up all of those nutrient poor calories you have been eating in the form of bread, cereals, muffins, pancakes, fiber 1 bars, twinkles, cookies… you get the idea!  

Just this one act forces you to start eating real, God-made, nutrient DENSE foods- foods chock full of every ingredient God and nature have determined is essential to your overall health and well-being!  Not just the macro-nutrients, like adequate protein and good fats, and not just the vitamins and minerals, like vitamins A, D, C, E, K, and all the rest we are concerned with- but especially all of the nutrients that the best minds in science STILL DO NOT KNOW THAT WE REALLY NEED!!

But need them we do- they are the many “missing pieces of the puzzle” that spell out HEALTH AND WELLNESS- the phytonutrients and micronutrients that have not even been discovered yet.  All of these missing nutrient pieces of health are within real, God made food- things like green leafy vegetables, oxidant rich berries, cruciferous veggies like broccoli and cauliflower, grass fed meats (especially grass fed ORGAN meats!), pastured butter and eggs, sardines and scallops!  

The MORE you eat of these real, God made foods, THE BETTER!  

This notion of eating MORE is so alien to us in modern, fake food America- we are all supposed to eat LESS, and of course to MOVE MORE, to burn off those icky calories…

I say BS- Factory farmed excrement!!

Eat all you want; in the beginning eat all you CAN of these wonderful real foods- put them in your Vitamix blender, except for the meats!, along with green tea, kefir, potato starch, pastured butter and eggs, cod liver oil, turmeric,cinnamon,and build your health, and the health of your microbiome from the inside out!
 
I honestly believe that this is the ultimate key to health and wellness!

Most folks read books like Wheat Belly, or The Paleo Solution, and although both of these are wonderful, informative books- they lead people to concentrate on elimination of bad foods, rather than positive embracing of wonderful, real, God made foods!!

So go you, and do… the opposite!  

Eat real foods- eat LOTS of real, nutrient-loaded REAL FOODS!  Glory in how full you are- think about all of those building blocks being available for your body to build, repair, and just plain REVEL in!

Eliminate the man-made processed junk, too!  But, the emphasis should be on incorporating the good foods, after you do that, you really won’t have the room or even the inclination to consume the BAD- you just won’t have the room.

And that is the bottom line of health, my friend- to paraphrase the great John Wesley of Methodism fame:

Eat as much God food as you can
Eliminate the Man food as much as you can
And your Health will grow as fast as it can!
